Chiang Mai's climate is different from the coast. The rainy season is intense and the dry season is harsh. Real bamboo in the north typically handles the moisture better than on the coast, but the dry-season cracking and subsequent insect infestation happens on the same eighteen-month cycle.
More importantly, Chiang Mai's boutique hotel and villa market is one of the most design-conscious in Thailand. Properties in Nimmanhaemin, the Old City surroundings, and the Mae Rim valley compete on aesthetic. A fence that degrades visually puts the whole investment at risk.
Our Antique Brown finish is particularly popular in Chiang Mai. The rich reddish-mahogany tone pairs naturally with teak joinery, dark stone, and Lanna-style timber details. It reads as warm and local without requiring the maintenance of actual wood.
Chiang Mai's architecture rewards warmth and texture. These three patterns translate the material's natural quality into a Lanna context.

Our Antique Brown is a fixed powder-coat shade. It pairs well with Burmese teak and the red-brown natural finishes common in Lanna architecture, but it is not a custom match. If you need an exact match to an existing material, send us a photo and we can tell you how close the stock finish lands. Custom RAL matching is available on orders above 50 linear meters.
